Today, CSI’s 'core competency' combines a mix of payment types and collection technology, via an extensive number of collection modes; offering unique and secure data interfaces, account reconciliation, fund transfers processes, and fund balancing procedures ... all in a web-based environment.
The CSI Solution is a web-enabled, multi-tiered application designed and constructed utilizing Microsoft's .NET framework and its associated technologies.
The user-interface tier is an ASP.NET solution utlizing C#. Given its innate flexibility, this tier can be tailored (often at no cost to the client) to ensure that a user experiences a seamless integration of the CSI solution with the client's current web-presence (site, portal, storefront, etc).
The business-logic tier is an ASP.NET Web-Services solution utilizing VB.NET. The web-service architecture ensures that the CSI solution is both easily managable, as well as, highly scalable.
For those clients who wish to develop and maintain the user-interface tier as an 'in-house' solution, the web-services of the CSI business-logic tier (necessary to execute and manage electronic transactions) are appropriately exposed and easily consumed. CSI will provide a specification to those clients wishing to leverage this option.
The data tier for the CSI solution is SQL Server (utilizing stored procedures for data access).
Given the nature of the information exchanged in a financial solution, security is crucial. As such, all communication is protected with 128 bit encryption utilizing Secure Socket Layers(SSL); both online user sessions (https) and ftp sessions (sFTP). If appropriate, CSI will also provide for the encryption of data utilizing PKI (PHP, if requested).
